Another first for me here. As an experienced guitar player many of my tracks feature some kind of guitar part in them, but this has none.
It was intended to be a big He's A Pirate (Hans Zimmer, Pirates of the Caribbean) kind of epic, but after moving the melody to the flute I realised it needed something much more gentle to bring out the strength of the tune. This gave it an eerie quality, hence the name I chose.
Try to imagine a dark bay, rocks all around, maybe a pirate shipwreck on the ocean lit by a full moon. That kind of thing. Less of the ARRR, MATEY stuff.
